Travel Advice & Tips
Yerevan
We spent 8 days total in Yerevan. Four of the days were at the start of our trip, the next four were spent traveling through the country side of Armenia, and then our final four days were spent back in Yerevan.

Our Air B&B
We were pleasantly surprised at the very large, spacious, and clean apartment we were able to rent for only $157 per night. Plus we were diving this cost by 3 people so it was an absolute steal!
We stayed on 7/1 Nalbandyn Street which ended up being an amazing location. We were within walking distance of Republic Square, Northern Ave, The Cascade Complex, Pushkin street, and so much more!
Yerevan is very walkable so, to be fair, as long as your hotel/Air B&B is within the main circle on the map, then you will have an easy walk anywhere you go within the city.
Cascade Complex
Such a core part of this city! The Cascade is surrounded by well kept landscaping, loads of restaurants/bars, music, art sculptures, and more. The underside is an art museum which you can walk in and the exterior makes for a nice walk. Just bring your sneakers because it's much taller than you think!

Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial
A must visit when in Yerevan. We went on a rainy day which honestly fit the feeling you experience while there. It is an emotional visit, but an important one. There is also a museum down below the memorial.

St. Anna & Katoghike Churches
Saint Anna Church opened in 2015 and is adjacent to the 13th-century Katoghike Church. We went to Sunday mass here on our last weekend. The mass takes place in Saint Anna church for the majority of the service but there is a portion where the priests, and anyone who want to follow, walk in to Katoghike church.
